Awakenings Festival
The first festival we present you is Awakenings Festival. This is a festival of electronic music, especially techno. It is held in the town of Spaarnwoude Houtrak, located very close to Amsterdam, the capital.
The first techno event held by Awakenings was in 1997 and they have not stopped since then. This festival is already known internationally and welcomes more than 80,000 electronic music lovers year after year.
This is the largest outdoor techno festival in the world. It lasts a weekend and is attended by more than 100 techno DJs in each edition.
Mysteryland
Another of the best festivals in Holland is Mysteryland. This is the reference dance music festival in the country and has an international projection. In 2011 there was also an edition in Chile and in 2014 also one in the United States.
This festival manages to gather more than 100,000 people each edition. It is held in a natural area, but very close to the Dutch capital. The location has beautiful lakes and rivers, something that makes this festival unique.

Best Kept Secret Festival
The Best Kept Secret Festival is undoubtedly one of the best festivals in Holland. It is defined as a three-day exploration to see how far music can take us.
It combines well-established names with new musical discoveries. It focuses especially on indie, folk, rock, hip-hop and electronic music. Born in 2013, it has already hosted a large number of important artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club, Tyler the Creator, Franz Ferdinand, Franz Ferdinand, alt-J, A$AP Rocky, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, James Blunt or Mac Demarco.
Pinkpop
If we talk about the best festivals in Holland, we can't forget Pinkpop. Along with Ruisrock and the legendary Glastonbury, it is one of the oldest outdoor festivals in the world.
This festival, born in 1970, is now more than 50 years old and is held in Landgraaf. The Pinkpop festival lasts three days since 1997 and the edition with more affluence was the year 2008.
The main genres are rock, hip-hop, electronic music, heavy metal, garage rock, alternative indie or indie rock. Artists such as Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, The Cure, Kings of Leon, Green Day, Paul McCartney, Rammstein, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse or The Rolling Stones have attended this festival.
Down the Rabbit Hole
The Down the Rabbit Hole festival is another of the best festivals in Holland. This also lasts three days and is usually held between June and July. The place chosen to host this festival is the park De Groene Heuvels, which in Dutch means green mountains.
This is a park located between two rivers and brings a natural and wild touch to the festival. Some of the elements that define Down the Rabbit Hole are confusion, psychedelia, surrealism and adventure. The name of the festival, inspired by Lewis Carroll's novel Alice in Wonderland, brings that surreal and psychedelic touch that the festival wants to promote.
If you go there, you can enjoy food from all over the world, as well as meditation sessions in the forest, secret discos or places to take a bath.
Pal Mundo Festival
In The Hague, Holland, Europe's largest Latin and Caribbean music festival takes place. This is the Pal Mundo Festival. But this festival has so much projection that, far from being satisfied with being organized once a year in Holland, it has decided to make its festival a concert tour. It has already been held in cities such as Madrid and Malaga.
In recent years, the Pal Mundo festival has brought together artists such as Bad Bunny, Wisin y Yandel, Becky G, Karol G, J Balvin and Prince Royce.
Lowlands Festival
If you want to enjoy one of the best festivals in Holland and, in addition, an outdoor experience, rural and in contact with nature, this is your festival. Because Lowlands Festival is not only a music festival, but also a great cultural offer: films, comedy, visual arts, literature and street theater.
All this is packed into three days and spread over no less than twelve stages. In Lowlands Festival you can find, especially, alternative music. There are pop, rock, hip-hop, metal, house, techno and electro bands and groups.
On the festival grounds you will find all kinds of facilities: from a hairdresser to its own radio station, as well as saunas, jacuzzis, sports facilities or its own newspaper publication.
