Glastonbury is a performing arts festival known internationally for its contemporary music, and for the presence of other arts such as dance, theater, circus and cabaret, among others.
The first edition of this festival was held fifty years ago, in 1971, and is located near Pilton, in Somerset, county of England.
This festival has counted in all its editions with the mainpop/rock artists ofthe moment, but you can also listen to other genres such as reggae, electronic, folk, indie rock or punk rock.
To give you an idea, artists such as Pharrel Williams, Katy Perry, Bastille, Wolf Alice, Ellie Goulding, Alt-J or The Chemical Brothers, are some of those who performed in past editions.

How to get to Glastonbury Festival
From Topfestivales we tell you the possible options to get to the festival:
- By Plane: from any of the main cities to London or Wales. Once there, the best option would be to take a rental car or a National Express bus.
- By car: own or rented, although there will be many kilometers and tolls. But with music and google maps, everything will be solved.
- By train: the best option once in London would be to take a train from there to Castle Cary, and once there a cab or car to the festival site.
