Rock in Rio 2022

The festival Rock in Rio is known as the largest festival in the world. There have been editions in different cities such as Madrid or Las Vegas. However, where more editions have been celebrated has been in Lisbon y Rio de Janeiro.

The festival was born in 1985, thanks to Roberto Medina, a Brazilian entrepreneur. The first edition featured artists such as AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Queen.

The last edition of Rock in Rio took place in Rio de Janeiro in 2019.The 2020 and 2021 editions had to be canceled due to the pandemic.

This year it returns Rock in Rio returns this year in the cities of Lisbon y Rio de Janeiro with more enthusiasm than ever. But that's not all, another Rock in Rio has already been confirmed in Santiago, Chile. Santiago de Chile for the year 2023. However, on this occasion we will mention everything related to the festival in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.

The sports complex Barra Olympic Park is the venue chosen to host this year's festival. The venue was started to be built in 2012 and hosted the Olympic Games held in the city in 2016.
