Sound Waves 2022: general information
Sound Waves is a music festival that takes place every year, every July in the paradisiacal beach of the coastal town of Esmoriz, a few kilometres from Porto. This July 2022 the festival celebrates its 15th edition.
In this festival you can enjoy the best electronic music, as it always includes in its lineup the most prominent stars of dance music, both national and international. Hause, techno, thousands of styles, sand and beach, without a doubt, Sound Waves is the perfect date to enjoy and combine sun, music and fun.
Danny Tenaglia, Art Department, Ben Sims, Nicole Moudaber, Soundprofile, Umek, DJ Vibe, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fatima Hajji, Alan Fitzpatrick or Carlo Lio, are some of the artists who have been present in the past editions of 2018 and 2019.

The line-up for the Sound Waves edition is not yet available. In addition, the artists who will be present at this 15th anniversary of the festival are unknown because the organization has not yet advanced the names of any of the artists or groups that will be part of it. Where will Sound Waves 2022 be held?
The Sound Waves festival is held in the coastal town of Esmoriz, about 30 kilometers from Porto, in Portugal. Specifically, the shows take place along the sandy beach of Praia de Esmoriz.

How to get to Sound Waves
To get to the Sound Waves festival, from Topfestivales we propose you the following options:
- Plane. The best option to get to the festival. The nearest airport is Porto Airport, which is about 40 kilometers from Praia de Esmoriz. Once there, the best option is either to take a taxi to the venue or a bus to Esmoriz.
- Car. This is another of the best options to get to the festival. Besides, with google maps you won't get lost. You can also consider other options such as carpooling or car hire if you don't have your own.
